THE WINE PRODUCER
The Venturini Farmyard Estate, founded by Bruno Venturini in the city of Cormons, has always been producing and trading wines obtained from their own, highly selected grapes, ripened on vineyards located in the province of Gorizia (Italy); these estates have now been defined as D.O.C. (Controlled Origin Label area) vineyards of Collio and Isonzo.
Paolo, Bruno's son, has been managing the wine production since 1976 with loving care, accurately balancing family traditions with new technologies and gradually improving the quality of bottled wines year after year.

THE WINE PRODUCTION AREAS.
The Collio is an area primarily characterised bye hill and slopes lying in the province of Gorizia, quite close to the border with Slovenia. It is geographically set between two rivers: the Isonzo and the Judrio. The Collio soils, made of marls and sandstone of Eocene origin, together with their peculiar geographical position, well sheltered in the north by the Julian Alps but opened bye the Adriatic Sea in the south to absorb the benefits of the sea climate, create an ideal place for grape growing. For such reasons the Collio area has long been the cradle of a high quality grape growing activity, as many historical documents can confirm it. The vineyards produce tasty, characterful and mouth-watering fruit flavoured wines distinguished by smoothness, delicacy and fineness. Such features, no doubt, rank the Venturini wines among the most appreciated wines in the world.
The Isonzo, a river regarded as sacred to the Nation, gives its name to the wine producing area internationally know as ISONZO D.O.C. which stretches along the plain on the outskirts of the province of Gorizia. The wine producing are is located between the Carso plateau and the river Judrio. These soils are alluvial, being left by historically recent floods of the river Isonzo which flows along its natural course towards the Adriatic sea. The Julian Alpes range, together with the mitigating influence of the sea, create the ideal conditions for the grape growing of superb quality.
